- By horse-cab

The most traditional and picturesque way of getting about, the historic horse-cab, is still to be found in Corfu, and a leisurely ride in one of these brings back the glamour of the past. You will find departure points in the Main Square (Esplanade) and at the Old Port. Usually the cabs follow this route: Esplanade - Mouragia (Arsenis Street) - Ag. Sofia - G. Theotoki Street - Desylla Street (Gymnastirio) - Tennis Club area - Alexandras Avenue - Garitsa Bay - Esplanade.The time taken is 40 minutes and during the journey the driver will point out the main sights of interest, with a commentary. The price ranges between 23.48 and 29.35 euros. If you wish to take a specific trip, or organize a trip out of season, or need any other information, you should get in touch with the president of the Horse-cab Association, Mr. Alexandros Vlachos.
